Rikshem Year-End Report 2024: Increased income from property management and a strong finish of the year

Rikshem’s rental income for the year increased by 4.6% to SEK 3,633 million. The net operating income totaled SEK 2,093 (1,960) million, and the income from property management increased to SEK 1,274 (1,189) million. Property investments for the year totaled SEK 1,078 (1,918) million.
“Rikshem ended the year strongly with successful residential leasing in new construction in Uppsala, a win in a landlord procurement and prolonged and increased leases for parts of a large property for public use in Halmstad. Our stable operations have led to an increase in rental income, net operating income, and income from property management for the year. We look positively on 2025 and the positive forecasts indicating that the Swedish economy will strengthen during the year. We continue to work for good living environments and a simpler everyday life for our customers,” says Anette Frumerie, CEO of Rikshem.
- Rental income was SEK 3,633 (3,473) million
- Rental income for the like-for-like portfolio rose SEK 143 million, or 5.1%
- Net operating income totaled SEK 2,093 (1,960) million, an increase of 6.8%
- Income from property management increased by 7.1% to SEK 1,274 (1,189) million
- The change in value of investment properties was SEK 405 (-4,776) million
- Profit for the year before tax was SEK 1,295 (-4,784) million
- The fair value of the properties, including Rikshem’s share in joint ventures, was SEK 58,827 (58,835) million
- The total return, including joint ventures (R12M), was 4.4% (-4.9)
